The MBA is a growing business membership organization that works to support the businesses within Mishawaka. We believe that a vibrant business community is healthy for the community at large.
Historically, the MBA was primarily focused on downtown Mishawaka, but within the past few years, the focus has broadened to include membership from all of Mishawaka. At the same time our outreach has included business from the Grape Road and Main Street Corridors to the expanding businesses on the city’s south side.
The work of the MBA is varied but with a consistent focus of promoting Mishawaka Businesses.
The MBA sponsors various business promotion events each year. The main event is the Kamm Island Fest each July that is produced with significant underwriting from the City of Mishawaka. The other events include Annual Dinner and Hometown Holiday. But the MBA is not just about events, we also hold monthly Business After Hours at member businesses and seminars of interest to businesses and the community.
