Kamm Island Fest
Kamm Island Fest is a community event produced by the Mishawaka Business Association. The 2008 Kamm
Island Festival is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 5pm to 9:30pm.
In its 5th Year - Kamm Island Fest has become a staple of Mishawaka’s summer entertainment season. Kamm
Island Fest draws upon the rich history of Kamm Island and is positioned to be on the building blocks in the
advancement of Downtown Mishawaka, the expansion of Beutter Park and the cultural heart of Mishawaka.
Kamm Island Fest is the main fundraiser for the MBA and its success is key to support the MBA mission a resource
and advocate for the Association's members while supporting, facilitating and enhancing commercial
opportunities in the city.
Unlike other summer events or festivals in Mishawaka, KIF is an adult only event. Admission to the island is
limited 21 and over.
There are three main draws for the Kamm Island Fest 2008:
1. “Taste of Mishawaka.” This is a tasting event put on by 12-14 local restaurants that provide a tasting of the
restaurant’s menus.
2. “Live Music.” The Fest will feature music from two live local bands.
3. “Raymond James Kamm Island Art Fest.” A showing of 16 local artists that will be displaying original art works.
The Kamm Island Fest Committee has designed opportunities that will allow any business, no matter its size, to
support the 2006 KIF. Our sponsorship packages start at $50 – each level can be customized to meet your
business needs.
When your business sponsors KIF your benefits range from inclusion in our purchased and in-kind advertising brand
recognition, marketing materials brand placement to music stage sponsorship, tent sponsorship and of course Gold
Sponsorship which gives your brand the greatest exposure for the investment and the opportunity to help shape the
event. All KIF sponsorship packages include a packet of admission tickets.
