In 1990 Maury purchased Pat’s Colonial Pub, a local iconic Mishawaka restaurant that was first
opened in 1910. The restaurant was re-named Maury’s/Pat’s Pub in 2005 and the legend continues
on today. Maury’s has expanded the business to employ 18 persons and to include catering, all while
continuing to be the area’s most talked about Notre Dame themed restaurant.
In addition to his business contributions to Mishawaka, Maury represents the City of Mishawaka on the

deeds. There is hardly a time that Maury cannot be counted on to support a group, lend a hand and
help promote the great things that happen in Mishawaka.
In awarding Maury Cocquyt the MBA Mishawaka Person of the Year the MBA Board of Directors
